Jake is like his dad, Iowa Dave, likes it on the cool side. He did some logging with me in November

I have the brochure and will look up the company in San Diego when I get home in a few days if you would like but it will be about a week. The screens are great and when we had them up we had lots of folks stop by and comment that it was about 15 degrees cooler behind the screen. You can stake them down or use downrigger lead to hold them out and in place.

Dave, that would be great to get that information. Thanks

Ok, Rita knows where it is, otherwise it would be lost if I was in charge.

Awning minor mod

Here's a minor mod we did for our awning. Since we're cheeeeeap, we made our own hooks, then got a fabric sun screen, complete with grommets, to hang from it to block that afternoon AZ (and CA) sun.
We found that 5/16" o.d. plastic tubing slides into the Carefree awning roller's slot. So, a bunch of 1" long plastic with some nylon cord and some hooks, all from our favorite HW store, and: voila!

You know, of course, that if an engineer can save a buck by investing 100 hours into a DIY solution, then.......

We made over a dozen for our needs, and saved, easily, at least a buck!!!
