You totally misunderstood my point. My QD is not “utterly inadequate” to meet my LP needs. I do not use it often (all the time) because wrestling tanks into the 5.0TA’s propane compartment is inconvenient; that has nothing to do with the WD’s adequacy. If my propane tanks were mounted where they are on the non-5th wheel Escapes, I would probably use it exclusively, which I do on short stops when all I will be doing is cooking. Please note I am not “compelled” to carry a high pressure option (not a solution) so I can use my grill and fire pit at a distance away from the trailer that my hoses cannot reach, which is something I believe that you yourself addressed as a reason to use disposable cylinders. As I see it, I have multiple options, and the best thing is I am not paying excessively high prices for small supplies of propane nor am I suddenly running out when propane is in use.
