Excellent; thanks for the report. Just did my wind deflector and have plugged into AC to start cooling fridge for our trip in a few days. Am really looking forward to fridge lower than 42 F.

Never knew the side vent wasn't a Dometic part. Wonder if that was known when Dometic agreed to replace the RML with an RMD. Makes sense there is the potential for reduced airflow and thus more heat...

My baffle was found to be scorched on my RMD 8555 that had replaced the original RML. Reace found it when I had him pull it a year later(5/16) as I didn't like how it had been trimmed out in front....
