So looking forward to this! I won't be making name tags this year so it would be very nice if people would bring their own. BIG BOLD PRINT is best for us OFs.

Thanks, Karen! Yes- they were helpful but we ended up not having them for everyone because of various mixups so nice if you can wear one!

I will host a campfire Monday night. Site #9. Weather could be a factor. I'm flexible as I'm there from Thursday through the following Friday, eight nights total.

I'm getting there Friday. Looking forward to it! I pulled the trailer out yesterday just in time for wind and rain. Now maybe I'll get it washed and waxed, too. Or not...

Right now looks okay for Tues-Thursday and AM showers Monday. But of course- totally unpredictable this far out.

April 25-28 escape rally

Just found out about this. Looks liked Fort Casey is booked. Would love to get any last minute cancellations for Tuesday through Friday.

Scott & Katie are now going to be in Site #32, Sunday-Thursday.

We are going to cancel our former reservations:
#10 Sunday
#29 Monday - Thursday.

Let us know by 8:00 am Wednesday (4/19) if you'd like to coordinate timing to get these sites.

Looking forward to the rally!

If the last-minute cancellation (Post #87) doesn't work out, there are still several campsites available at Fort Ebey which is just ten miles up the road. Close enough to join any evening events.

You can also put in your dates so you will be notified of any cancellations. (Scott and Katie jumped on that one!)

I saw the notice when it came and the spot was already gone (in your cart I assume.)

Reservation

Thank You for all of your help. I did ask to be notified (I didn’t know we could do that) but I would like to try to coordinate to get Scott and Katie’s site for Tuesday-Thursday.

I just finished pre-making crab mac and cheese to freeze and then bake in the Dutch Oven for our Ft. Casey rally potluck Tuesday. If you are in the area but not at the rally you're still welcome to come, message me for details! I hope our earliest attendees are not being blown away today but we can look forward to fairly nice weather- maybe even hit 60- next week! See you soon, and don't forget your nametags.

I had to drive to Burlington last Saturday and returning through Deception pass was a bit slow, but not too much so. But it as yucky weather and not Sunday. If Sunday is nice expect a lot of traffic (might be worth coming post marathon- pre- returning home from tulip stalking.). Glad I live here!

The rally has not officially begun and we've had two "accidentals" join the three of us who are already here: Ann from Bellinghm, Washington, and Marianne & George from Georgia. The latter are in their brand new 21 heading down the coast and eventually turning east for home. It's going to be a campground full of Escapes come Tuesday!
