We were at Escape Monday afternoon in anticipation of taking delivery of our 5.0 on Wednesday. Unfortunately, a family emergency came up that prevented us taking delivery. Once, we explained our situation, Karl Kenny came out and met with us and immediately said “no problem, what can we do to help?” He and the staff researched long term parking options at YVR, offered us suitcases (we had none) and storage at Escape in their building for any personal possessions. They cleaned our new trailer, brought it into the delivery bay and allowed us to spend all the time we wanted taking pictures and reviewing our build. We offered to pay off the final small remaining balance as a gesture of good will and they said, “don’t worry about it, we will settle up when you take delivery”. It is clear to us is that the culture of Escape and the quality of the build is still very much intact. We are looking forward to returning to Escape in a few weeks to finally take delivery.

When the people I know left their places of employment after many years and their severance/ retirement plan/ final compensation was in place, they did not hang around where they were, they moved on. Especially if they had a large skill set and a fire inside. There are exceptions of course and I’m sure someone will cite them.
For now, it’s all speculation. If you’ve got your Escape, get out and enjoy it. It’s not the end of the world, just another series of rotations coming up. We certainly would not hesitate to purchase another Escape should we need one. Mean spirited comments are unnecessary and do not become Escape owners. In my not so humble opinion.

Seems to me, nothing has changed, still exemplary customer service.....

What Dave said.

Not surprised about the assistance JStelly received. Either Karl is cut from the same cloth as Reace and Tammy, or he knows the value of that kind of customer service. Whichever, it's good.

In my business life the company I worked for did many large acquisitions, at least two a year. The former owners or management never stayed around long just through the learning curve and then they where gone. This news does not surprise me and it doesn’t really concern me. For them to sell their heart and soul I’m sure they did this knowing their dream will continue and grow in a positive way. A 21 foot with a rear bed, hmmm

Actually, it is Tammy and Reace's fault for raising expectations to such heights through excellent customer service.

I was just at ETI and talked to Reace at the front desk. I didn't ask him any questions about the situation there but he was definitely there.

Most important is who is there!

During a Utah trip in May, when I was still allowed in the kitchen area of our 17, some how our glass stove top was broken. I tried to order a new top from a distributer and also through a dealer but I kept hitting that wall. I called Dave at Escape and he ordered a couple that would take 6 to 8 weeks to be delivered. After 6 or 7 weeks I called and Dave said he would send the glass off a new stove and replace his when delivered to them. Today the glass showed up by UPS, I installed it and Nancy is happy once again. I believe that's what you call service when I ran out of options.

Heck, I'm never allowed in the kitchen, either at home or the trailer.

Good illustration of ETI's above and beyond service.

Susan is a really good self-taught cook, however in retirement I've taken the time to learn a few things other than lighting the bbq. I often search "Dinner Ideas Tonight" and have given her a break and have enjoyed doing it. Seems like the Boomer culture was for many an Ozzie/Harriet thing and wow is that ever passe!

Same here whether on the road or at home, no matter how many times I offer to help, even with the clean up I get shooed away. But then I do all the driving so I guess balances out. On the road at least.

Ruth and I picked up our new 19 the same day and enjoyed talking with Karl the new president!
We also saw both Reace and Tammy actively involved and said hello to Reace, Tammy was busy with a salesman!
The whole team treated us very well and we are currently on day 9 of our inaugural
trip down the West coast about to see the Sequoias as we head back to Virginia by way of Wyoming and Minnesota to check in on 2 of our kiddos!
We are enjoying the trailer "Full Quiver" and our 2018 F 150 baby powerstroke diesel tug (16 mpg towing so far 25 with no trailer) and so far great quality control!
Happy travels all.

Good Report, reassuring to many and nothing like first hand information. Glad to hear your trip is going well.

Turns out Elvis did indeed leave the building. Don’t blame them, we would probably do the same in their shoes. Additionally, for all the other responses about “speculation” the writing was on the wall.
