This isn't what I did to my Escape, it's what I didn't have to do to it. Was watching a utube vid and the guy was changing out his marker lights from incandescent to LED. (Not a fiberglass trailer, year unknown.) Seemed like a good idea to me so I went out to my classic 19 to see how easily I could do it.
Nice surprise was, back in 2013 Reace had already done it.

Wish my mods had such a quick successful ending.
BTW, any news on the third window quote?

I'm not done paying yet. I got OEM hitch, but Prodigy P3 and 7-pin wiring is aftermarket and I'm booked in Sept. 4.
I'm going to spend the next couple weeks reading the manuals.

Replaced the base on the plumbing vent on my 2013 19'. It had cracked, probably because Escape had to bend the original base to fit the shape of the curved roof. I expect that this base may last another 5-7 yrs before it too needs to be replaced.
This is not my picture but I did have to replace 2 of the solar panel tie down cables on my 2013 19' in which the cables installed by Escape in 2015 had recently 'snapped'. There is a cable on each corner of the solar panel. I drilled out the old rivets on the two broken cables and replaced the entire cable and connectors with new ones. Pop riveted the new cables back in place in the original holes. Should be good for another 5 yrs.
Also replaced the fridge vent on my 15B which had blown off on a recent trip.

Well, we went back into an evacuation zone to rescue it. (My daughter, who snapped this photo as we were leaving, said the name on the trailer was appropriate -- always the comedian. )

Glad nothing happened to it. Likely could have been the other way. Very sad that Big Basin was damaged. Hopefully you can return home soon.

I've been wanting to do this for awhile...it involved removing the woodshed friends and I built in '89. I haven't had wood heat for 10 years or so. And having 2 loads of gravel delivered and spread so that the road/drive/rv pad was covered sufficiently. And some excavation on the back right corner to be able to move it away from the garage sufficiently. And THEN, the purchase (and delivery/assembly, not by me!) of the carport. It only took three workers 1:45 to complete, including four special anchors at the corners. The roof may blow off but the track will still be there!! I'm at the end of a one lane dead end road, hence the extra width to be able to back in to that space.
I did order a second panel for that right (west) side, but decided not to have them install it yesterday so that some erosion control of that corner can be devised and installed. They left me plenty of hardware and instructions.
I am as happy as it gets in the pandemic! (sorry I'm defying gravity here....) (on edit, thanks to the picture rotator!)

Our new E19 has been under a fabric cover in our driveway, but it's SO hot here in south Mississippi that it's in the 90's inside the trailer. So, we started the process of building a carport sort of structure across our driveway to shelter the trailer. Today we had 3 medium size trees along the driveway edge that were leaning over the driveway taken down (we have tons more!). So we've made the call to the contractor and told him we're ready to build the carport. The plan is for it to have 6x6 posts and a tin roof with a fairly shallow slope to decrease its visibility from the street. It will be such a luxury to get rid of the cover and be able to turn on the refrigerator or the air conditioner, and to see out the windows. I love having our Escape right outside the door and I go out there and putz and plan a lot -- but it's too hot all closed up under the fabric cover. So anyway, I'm super excited about building a protective structure!

I'm envious of you folks that can put a hard shelter over your Escapes. Where I live it's not permitted.
A great project with continuing payback.

Ron, well... it's sort of questionable as to whether it's permitted or not! We live in a small subdivision of about 25 homes. The Home Owners Association hasn't met in years and the main officers have died. So it's sort of dormant. Our deed restrictions are not exactly clear on RVs, they say "no trailers" but it's questionable as to whether they mean mobile homes or RVs. So we've held our breath for 4 years now and have had no complaints about the trailer in our driveway, so we're finally constructing a permanent covering on the side of our house where only 4 other homeowners pass our house. And one of them has an RV and a boat in his driveway! So we're taking a bit of a risk in paying for a structure to be built, but at this point I think it's a reasonable risk and I really want the Escape under cover! Our lot is so treed that the tree debris is constant.
