Wider upper cabinet door?

Sooo much easier access! Makes a huge difference!
Please explain the "wider cabinet door in the back". Is this something unique to the 19 or applicable also to the 21? Thanks

Since I'm building my list of options, I'm interested in any changes made from the standard model.

I believe it is a standard now, at least in the 19. My 2009 had two separate doors.

The width we ordered for our 19 is 36", which is wider then the standard size.
There are some pictures in the classic It's Friday tread that shows you the difference.
This is all based on the 19 though. Sizes might differ for the 21, as that trailer is wider.
Hope a proud 21 owner can pitch in with the standard rear o/h cabinet door size?

Here a pic from our rear in progress that shows the wider opening
You can compare this with the pictures shown on the ETI website, and it shows you the difference

We asked for the door over the bed to be enlarged. We're not getting a radio so all the standard door would do is make it harder to get at things in the end of the cabinet.
Here's the standard door on a 19. Note the extra space on the sides where speakers would be if you ordered the radio.

Here's the same cabinet on a 21. I don't know the dimensions.

Our camper is now going to be finished in mid December instead of January. It really makes me want to go get it around Christmas, but from a practical point of view it still makes no sense not to wait and pick it up in March. Besides the weather, I won't have the garage ready. It's going to kill me knowing it's done and just sitting there waiting.
Oh well, It's Friday and the pictures keep coming!
This batch came in while I was boring a family member with the pictures we already had.
Interior lights working, windows in, wheels and graphics on.

Jim, what is that print underneath the rear window in that beautiful dark red?
What does it say?
By the way, YOUR trailer and graphic colours look great!!

That's great that you can get the larger door opening. Yeah, if you're not getting the radio and speakers, much better to have more access to that area.

And I hear ya on waiting for the trailer. That's why I scampered up there as soon as I could after getting the email on Tuesday ours was ready early. But, you however, have icky weather to contend with. Not fun. How's your patience level?

My patience is marginal but too many plans are already made, plane tickets bought and such. Congrats on getting "The Trailer" home. It doesn't sound like your husband is the type to care about being there for the pick up. I once floated the idea to Katrina about just me going to get the camper since she can't just take off work like I can. It did not go over well, understandably she wants the full ETI experience.

No, not the motorcycle, I've gotten a lot smarter/softer in recent years. Heck we even took the Jeep instead of the bike to Mississippi River Rally just because it was a little rainy. There was a time when that idea wouldn't have occurred to me.

Thanks Marry. We were thinking blue to match our Jeep but it changes so much with lighting that we couldn't settle on one. Then we were camped next to a red 19 at a rally. From the right angle it looked like we were hooked up to it and it looked good to us. It's kind of tail light red so it should work with any vehicle, right?
As for the print under the window, we surprised ourselves by naming our camper. We used to tent camp off the motorcycle. Then we moved up to our little tent camper (pulled with the Harley) and joked that it was hardly camping. Well now we're getting a 19 and won't even be pulling with the Harley any more. So the campers name is...

Well this just cost us another $100 (actually $75 US).
Thanks Marry, I had forgot about this.

Looks like my trailer build is making progress. Build completion is for Dec. 15 - that's a little too close to Christmas for me to be able to make the trip from Texas and back so I have scheduled orientation for Jan. 8.

Agreed!

It looks like they've made the spacing a bit more symmetrical after they took out that top cupboard. The photo they sent me when they told me about it looked a bit different from what they're doing on yours. Good, glad they fixed the symmetry.
