Yes, all you have to do to confirm this is cast your eyes skyward in most big box stores. How many bottom chords attach to the wall?

I put proper cross members in so I could sleep better at night. Not physically but mentally.
Good thing they don’t build houses…

That's interesting. Is that mismatched red wire gauge from the factory, or something that you've done? (maybe a work in progress rewiring w/ heavy gauge?)

Due to our plethora of high winds lately, I noticed that the notched rubber/plastic balls we had at the corners of our solar panel, to protect the trailer cover, had disappeared.
So, we made a simple PVC frame, with some judicious notching/filing in the corners, to sit snugly on the solar panel, so the cover only sees smooth rounded edges now. No rips; no tears, no tears!

All original. The fat red goes to the rear electric center, where it charges the batts. The skinny red goes to the breakaway switch for emergency brake actuation. There's also a fat black under that which is the tow vehicle power from the 7 blade.

3-way joins are actually a standard plumbing fitting, similar to T fittings, but you can also get 'furniture grade' ones, like

Maybe these days, but where? Surely not a box store like home depot
I have only seen these on furniture type applications.

And you are correct. Must have some electrical or civil engineers in here because it’s obvious there are no structural engineers.
Good thing I am retired commercial industrial contractor, as I would as others refused to build structures where the joist stopped short of the wall and the roof deck supported the supporting structure. Even if the design engineer said it’s ok. I have seen way to many professional engineering negligence mistakes go badly.
Thanks to tdf-texas I was made aware of this. I ripped it out and completely replaced it properly. Took all of 7 hours.

Sometimes it’s just easier to rebuild and repair others deficiencies.

I did the same thing. In my case though, I had the drivers side plywood starting to crack where it wasn't supported. The plywood wasn't too happy with the less than 1/2" contact it had with the framing.

well, I just put mine back together as-is. only really needed a temp brace under the first floating cross member, that brought the middle of the curbside plywood up and level, so I started at the back and for each runner, did the outside two screws, then the center two screws, then the rest of the screws on that brace from the center towards the outside, each brace came up snug against the ply with the original screw holes. I set the clutch on my drill driver to 8 so it wouldn't strip any. took about 30 minutes total, including the hinged hatch.

Exactly what I am doing for my daughter and granddaughter right now. A great family winter build so they can enjoy camping in something other than a tent. It is a one of a kind Trolley Top Square Drop.

The 3-way fittings are sometimes called "offset Tees", and I found them at the local Home Depot. On their website, the fittings showed as "in stock". I couldn't find them at the store, but I asked one of their employees, who, after a 10 minute search, found them on the bottom shelf at the end of the rack.
They're also locally available at a commercial pipe supply outlet used by commercial contractors and farmers.
